This position will be responsible for all functions of inventory handling. Responsibilities will also include maintenance of inventory, receipt, shipment of goods, and other duties as assigned. This position would primarily be based in the warehouse with some responsibility to assist with driving the delivery truck. Hourly pay starts between $18.00 and $22.50/hr with bonus potential. Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesParticipates in the shipping of company goods by driving the company-owned delivery truck Maintains delivery schedule and ensures delivery schedule is met Verifies the accuracy of shipments Processes paperwork and signatures of shipments Accurately prepares orders by pulling material from stock Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner Pulls orders via pick ticket and handles pick ticket through the delivery process Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and prepare stock for transport Participates in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying gains/losses Respond to inquiries to provide the status and accuracy of deliveries Cleans warehouse to maintain a safe and sanitary workplace QualificationsAt least two years of inventory handling and delivery driving experience Demonstrated safe driving record Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures Excellent verbal communication skills Basic computer literacy High School Diploma or GED required Ability to meet delivery times and schedules with little supervision Must meet DOT guidelines for drivers of commercial motor vehicles Valid Drivers license and clean driving history Florida Tile provides an array of benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
