Special Education Teacher
ZSN Systems and Solutions is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher to work on our school campus in Alhambra, CA, for the current school year 2024-25.
SET is needed at Alhambra, CA
Age Group – Elementary, Middle, & High School (RSP & SDC)
Start Date: - ASAP
End Date: - June, 7th 2024 (Possibility for Renewal for SY-2024-25)
Total hours per week: 37-40 per week
Required credential: Special Education Mild/Mod & Mod/Severe
Number of Positions: 5+
Qualifications
- Experience with children in special education settings
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Classroom management skills for diverse learners
- Ability to work with students with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles
- Experience in curriculum development for special education students
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with developmental disabilities.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Stay current on best practices in special education and incorporate them into lesson planning.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
