After administering the appropriate tests and measures, a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing. Performs direct patient care services including the supervision of support personnel and students. These are just a few reasons why applying for your career with IU Health is a good choice.Requires a Master's Degree from an accredited academic program in speech pathology; or, if foreign trained, graduation from a speech pathology education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.Requires current license in the State of Indiana.Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate.Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
