Software/Solutions Architect4 days onsite, 1 day remote.Location: Sandy Springs, GA6 months contract to hire.Update: Client is looking for more on Business side who understands Business flows. But need to have good understanding of Tech stack- Python, Java. Need someone who is comfortable with Python. That is not what they will be working with 100% of the time, but they need to know how to troubleshoot it easily.Basically fullstack dev, background. Needs someone with Python for sure but can be any other tech stack beyond that. Think Sr. Developer, with Solutions Architecture experience. Needs to have great comm skills. Will be the “right hand” to a VP that handles business solutions on the FinTech side. We’re looking for a Solutions Architect with strong technical leadership skills to take ownership of a core application suite in the financial services space. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic oversight — ideal for someone who’s led development teams, managed large-scale consumer sites, and thrives on solving complex problems in data-driven environments. Key ResponsibilitiesLead design, development, and ongoing support for a suite of high-availability applications in the consumer lending space.Own the technical roadmap for your domain — ensuring systems remain reliable, scalable, and secure.Manage large-scale consumer-facing systems with complex data integrations.Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, monitoring, and incident response.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, DevOps, and data teams to deliver impactful solutions.Mentor engineers and promote best practices around architecture, performance, and maintainability. Required Experience 10+ years in a leadership role overseeing ongoing development, support, and maintenance of multiple applications.Proven experience running large-scale, high-traffic consumer websites with complex, data-driven integrations.Extensive hands-on expertise with Python, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and data analysis tools and workflows.Solid understanding of modern deployment, CI/CD, and monitoring practices.Strong communicator who can bridge technical details and business needs.Nice to HaveExperience in financial services, fintech, or heavily regulated industries.Familiarity with consumer identity verification and underwriting workflows
