Customer Service Associate/Cabot Wrenn & ContractHickory Chair - Hickory, NC 28602OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionPosition SummaryPosition is responsible for professional and timely communication with customers, dealers, designers, and sales representatives.Position DetailsWorking closely with the customer, designers, and operational staff in the overall business requirementsManaging responses to inquiries, creating quotes, reviewing orders, problem resolution, and post-sales supportProviding production specifications, pricing, configuration, and availability informationEntry of (highly configured) orders, credits, return authorizations, and order changes as neededInteracting with various departments within the organizationWorking closely with manufacturing and sourcing organizations to ensure completion dates are accurate and that production is completed on timeManaging new accounts or special shipping needs, tracking key orders, and ensuring that the items will be manufactured within an expected time frame.Insuring pricing is accurate for all orders, including promotional and sale periods, and the customer meets all requirements.Oversees all logistical needs and requirements for domestic and international shipments.Prospecting accounts for service needs and sales opportunitiesManaging multiple projects with busy telephone and email volumeAssisting with other projects as requestedQualificationsPosition Requirements1-3 years of customer service experienceCustomer service experience in contract/hospitality furniture preferredA motivated, team player with excellent communication skillsPositive attitudeComputer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiencyMust be detail-oriented and preciseAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projectsAssociate's degree or equivalent experiencePhysical RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
