Pastry Decorator

The Grange Outpost, part of the Grange Restaurant Group, is currently seeking a driven, experienced, and career-oriented Pastry Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate would consider themselves an organized, personable, and motivated. Must enjoy a high energy & fast-paced environment, able to work non-standard hours (i.e night hours, weekends & holidays), and have a team player mentality. This position will be based out The Grange Outpost, located in Orchard Park, NY. Responsibilities/Experience A minimum of 2 years working knowledge of the fundamentals of scratch made pastry, bread, and cake decoration Ability to work respectfully on your own and as a team player Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to take direction from head pastry chef Maintains inventory of prepped ingredients and follows pre-established recipes to the standard with consistency Ability to maintain production of pastries and desserts for large scale events Dessert table production and set up experience preferred Sugar cookie and macaron production experience preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift Day shift Every weekend Morning shift Overnight shift Ability to Commute: Orchard Park, NY 14127 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Orchard Park, NY 14127: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
