Results are achieved through analysis and implementation of objectives and living The Levy Difference. Our Catering Sales Managers are the liaison between the client and the food and beverage team. They are the client's right hand from the beginning of the planning process (up to 18 months in advance), through the last day of their show. The CSM's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Client ServiceManaging Client's TimelinesExecuting Contracts and Payment ManagementCollaborative Menu PlanningManaging all Client Details as they pertain to Food and BeverageGuiding Customers Through Their Planning ProcessCommunicate and Direct Execution of Client's Vision with Internal Team with a Strong Attention to DetailSite Visits and Meetings with ClientsOperationsEnsures all catering services exceed guest expectationsSuccessfully presents Levy catering services to guests in a manner that exceeds guest expectations and profitabilityCommunicates client's needs through timely and detailed written and verbal communications to ensure internal understanding / compliance and external guest's expectation of servicesHas location specific food and wine knowledgeInitiates contact with clients to secure their food and beverage selections in advance of event datesHas strong attention to detailHolds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest serviceEnsure that team members consistently deliver Heartfelt Hospitality to every guest, every timeEnsures show quality standards are maintained at all timesBuilds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team membersRegularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operationsSupports and communicates Company initiativesRespond and assist in any departmental guest service issuesExecutes all menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Director of Catering in accordance with Levy standardsControlsThoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (Purchasing Systems, Point-of-sale, WFM, eReserve and more)Achieves daily sales and assigned cost goalsAchieves assigned budget goalsEmploys good safety and sanitation practicesFollows and enforces responsible alcohol service policiesExecutes required daily reporting in a timely mannerCompletes required department reports and complies information at month end closingEnsures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbookAssures the continual process of revenue developmentPromotes the sale of profitable Levy servicesPrepares account forecasts and analysis of group sales in accordance with Levy Core Signature GuidelinesAssures the complete billing for client services and receipt of payments in accordance with Levy standardsTeamUses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to teamPromotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and moraleConducts regular scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team membersDisplays a positive attitude towards team membersJob RequirementsAble to communicate effectively with management team, guests and team members by speaking and comprehending EnglishEnglish reading, writing, math and computer skills requiredAbility to taste and evaluate food and beverage productsMust be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictatesMust be flexible with schedule and able to work different shiftsPossible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strainsMust be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shiftAbility to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer systemAbility to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondenceClose vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documentsCurious about Life at Levy?
