Tasting Room Manager

Point of the Bluff is seeking an experienced, sales-driven Tasting Room Manager to lead daily operations of our Hammondsport tasting room and ensure an exceptional guest experience in a beautiful Finger Lakes setting.This role is ideal for someone who loves world-class wine, leading people, driving sales, and taking pride in maintaining a welcoming, polished space.What You’ll DoOversee day-to-day tasting room operationsLead by example in sharing Point of the Bluff’s vision of hospitality to create exceptional guest experiencesHire, train, schedule, and support tasting room staffDrive wine sales and wine club growthMaintain overall upkeep of the tasting room, including cleanliness, organization, and presentationManage POS systems (Commerce7), inventory, and daily sales reportingEnsure compliance with service standards, safety guidelines, and NYS liquor lawsCollaborate with winery, events, and marketing teamsWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of hospitality management experience (winery experience a plus)Strong leadership and communication skillsSales-minded with a passion for guest experienceHighly organized, dependable, and detail-orientedExperience with POS systems (Commerce7 experience a plus)Wine knowledge preferred, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essentialAvailability to work weekends, holidays, and event-heavy seasonsMust be able to Lift 40+ lbsComfortable with both administrative and operational aspects of a wine clubWeekend availability required.What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experiencePerformance-based bonus opportunitiesEmployee wine discountsSupportive, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to grow with Point of the BluffIf you’re excited about hospitality, wine, and leading a team in one of the Finger Lakes’ most unique winery settings, we’d love to hear from you.
