DescriptionNurturing Parenting Program PractitionerLocation:Tempe,ArizonaEmployment Type:Full-timeSalary:$21 - $22.08Date Posted:5/22/2026About The RoleAs our Nurturing Parenting Program Practitioner, you will support and educateparentsreferred by the Department of Child Safety, to help themimprove their parenting skills, empathy towardtheirchildren’s needs, learn non-violent discipline,andestablish healthy parent/child family roles.You will conduct initial assessments and service plans to recognize parenting issues to address and list attainable goals for success. This positionworksup to20weekswithparents,and observesinteractions with theirchildren/youth, offering the opportunity to provide real time training.You will meet with clients in the community and office settings. As part of our HRT team, you will receive supportive supervision and case review, toaid in yourprofessional growth.ResponsibilitiesConduct initial assessments to identify parenting needs and areas for growthDevelop and implement individualized service plans with measurable goalsProvide structured parenting education focused on empathy, non-violent discipline, and healthy family rolesObserve parent-child interactions and provide real-time coaching and feedbackMeet with clients in community and office-based settingsDocument services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with agency and contractual requirementsCollaborate with Department of Child Safety referrals and related stakeholdersParticipate in supportive supervision and case review meetingsMaintain compliance with all state, agency, and contractual standardsEnsure the safety, health, and welfare of clients and families at all timesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED with 2 years of human services or child welfare experience (e.g., Daycare, Pre-K, Behavior Management Aide, Group Home Worker, Case Aide); orAssociate degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Family/Early Childhood Studies, etc.); orBachelor’s degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Family/Early Childhood Studies, etc.)Must be at least 18 years of ageAbility to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance CardAbility to obtain and maintain DCS ClearanceAbility to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR CertificationCurrent Arizona State Driver’s License with a good driving record for the past three (3) yearsCurrent personal vehicle liability insurance and vehicle registrationWhat We Offer$21 - $22.08/hr. depending upon experience and bi-lingual abilitySign-On bonus of $1000 is divided into 60 days and 90 days.
