This position supports daily operations both domestically and internationally by ensuring clear communication, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service.In this role, you'll interact with ophthalmology and optometry practices, coordinate with manufacturing partners, support order flow, and assist with educational initiatives such as training materials and webinars. Location & ScheduleLocation: Lakewood, CO facilitySchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. MTEssential Responsibilities(Other duties may be assigned)Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to optimize service quality, productivity, and business outcomesAnswer and route incoming calls in a professional and friendly mannerProvide outstanding customer support via phone and email, addressing product-related inquiries and complex issuesProactively contact customers for follow-ups, post-training check-ins, and outreach related to low order volumesReceive, scan, and upload impression materials and 3D images to shared systemsServe as a liaison to contracted manufacturing labs (AVT, Medlac) to ensure timely productionFollow up with practitioners to prevent order delays related to consultation or design requirementsEnter customer reorders and process orders originating from remote teamsCreate EyePacks for first-time wearersModerate and facilitate educational webinarsCollaborate on the development and maintenance of customer resources and educational materialsMonitor inventory and procure supplies, including BluGooProvide backup support for billing and shipping functionsContribute to continuous improvement of business processes and customer experienceMaintain ongoing learning in specialty contact lens products and industry trendsParticipate in continued business and industry educationSupport special projects and other business needs as assignedQualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred3+ years of experience in operations or customer support preferred1+ year of experience in the contact lens industry preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with CRM/ERP systems and data entryExceptional written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, proactive learner with a strong sense of ownershipAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlinesTeam-oriented with a strong commitment to high-quality customer serviceProfessional demeanor with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsConfident and thoughtful decision-maker with a proactive approach to challengesPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentPrimarily sedentary role requiring sitting, talking, and listeningAbility to lift up to 10 lbsTravel required approximately 5-10% of the time (customers, trade shows, conferences)Ability to travel internationally; valid passport requiredScope of RoleThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties.
