Associate Asset Manager
Position OverviewOur client is seeking a highly motivated Associate Asset Management to oversee the operational and financial performance of our renewable energy portfolio, including solar and energy storage assets. This role is responsible for maximizing asset value through effective financial management, performance optimization, and risk mitigation across the lifecycle of each project.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of renewable energy assets to ensure optimal financial and operational performanceMonitor and analyze asset performance, including energy production, revenue, and expensesDevelop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial modelsOversee compliance with project agreements (PPAs, leases, O&M contracts, financing agreements)Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) and external stakeholdersIdentify and implement strategies to improve asset efficiency and profitabilityManage reporting requirements for lenders, investors, and senior managementTrack and mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risksSupport acquisitions, divestitures, and refinancing activities as neededQualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related fieldMBA or relevant advanced degree preferredExperience:2–4+ years of experience in renewable energy operations, engineering, or technical asset managementHands-on experience with solar or battery storage assetsExperience working with SCADA systems and performance monitoring platformsFamiliarity with energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and PPA structuresStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple assets and priorities simultaneouslyResults-driven with a focus on value creationStrong organizational and project management skills
