Braun Medical, visit www.bbraunusa.comJob Function - GeneralServes as an expert in all sterile reprocessing technical parameters, including but not limited to water and steam quality, detergents used in decontamination, instrument quality, water treatment, mechanical washing, steam sterilization and associated work processes.Lead investigations, form conclusions, strategies and recommendations that assist healthcare facilities make informed decisions and demonstrate leadership to resolve client issues.Ability to identify, analyze, and evaluate surgical and laparoscopic instrumentation and container systems for various flaws (surface corrosion, friction corrosion, pitting corrosion, stress fractures, damage, etc).Executes tasks and workplans for consulting engagements (as needed to deliver SOW or generate secondary opportunities).Provide technical support to other consultants, sales team and other employees as required.The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.GeneralIt shall be the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for the safety and health of himself/herself and other persons.Limit of Authorization/AuthorityPlease refer to the Corporate Guidelines or BBMUS Guidelines or job specific authorities where applicable. Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization. Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.Supervision Given and ReceivedWork under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of peers.Problem SolvingJudgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.Contacts/CooperationRepresents the organization as a prime contact on projects and departmental operations. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on issues often requiring coordination across organizational lines.Additional RequirementFrequent business travel required.Salary RangeSalary Range: $125,000-$140,000. The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when building compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.Additional InformationIt is an essential function of this position for an employee to be present and in-person at the physical site(s) of our customers and potential customers. Many of our customers and potential customers are in clinical settings, including, but not limited to, hospitals, clinics, and other health care clinics. They may require proof that employees have certain vaccinations and immunizations, including COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, before being granted entry. The field sales, field service, and other customer-facing professionals must register with the vendor credentialing organization associated with customers, complete the required process, and undergo clearances such as a national criminal background check, drug screening, and immunizations as required.
