Looking for someone who understands quality engineering strategy, knows how automation and QA processes work end to end, and has been actively exploring how AI can improve testing over the past 6–8 months. This person should be capable of contributing at a higher level, not just executing test cases, but helping guide direction and think strategically.Responsibilities:Support quality engineering efforts across testing strategy, automation, and overall QA process improvementHelp identify how AI can be applied to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and executionContribute to test automation initiatives while also thinking beyond traditional automation approachesPartner with internal teams to bring ideas, direction, and practical recommendations around modern QA practicesOperate as a high-value team member who can help elevate quality practices, not just perform task-based testingWork closely with a primarily Hartford-based QA teamMust Haves:Strong background in quality engineering and QA processesExperience with test automation and understanding of how QA frameworks operate end to endClear interest in AI and how it applies to QA/testingRecent hands-on exploration or practical use of AI in the last 6–8 monthsAbility to think strategically and provide direction, not just executeStrong communication and collaboration skillsNice to Haves:Prior experience helping shape QA strategy or best practicesExposure to modern AI-assisted testing approaches or toolsExperience working with distributed teams
