PA - Packaging Technician

PA - Packaging TechnicianThe Packaging Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively preparing, filling, packaging and labeling our food safe medical cannabis oils and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose and topical applications. This position will also be responsible for maintaining production and packaging equipment.Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)Proper setup and operation of filling, solid dose manufacturing, packaging and labeling equipmentTroubleshoot and repair equipment as neededAssist in monitoring and managing processing equipment supplies and inventoryExecute all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with PharmaCann SOP's and all applicable manufacturing proceduresPerform in-process and post-process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch recordsSupport new product lines and process development as neededBe willing and able to be cross-trained to work alongside other PharmaCann team members with manufacturing, harvesting, drying and weighing of PharmaCann's broad medical cannabis product line as neededEnsure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement proceduresTrain future new team members as necessaryProjects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and communityEmbodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectivesQualificationsExperience: The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product qualityEducation: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimumAge: State law requires that applicants be 21 years old and overCompetencies/Additional Requirements include:Attention to detailTeam playerEffective communication skillsStrong work ethicWillingness to learn and improve each operationAbility to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time (i.e: operating filling and or packing equipment)Working conditionsAvailability to work a four-day work week (10 hours a day) and occasional weekends and holidays, if neededPhysical requirementsStanding, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments to process equipmentDirect reportsN/AAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.PharmaCann, LLC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age disability or genetics.
