This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of elite athletes by designing and owning a comprehensive content monetization strategy that directly impacts revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing various monetization models, personally driving the sales process for content-driven deals, and collaborating with the partnership sales team. A key aspect of the role is to own the content P&L, manage budgets, and report on the performance of content-driven revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and monetizing content platforms, with a focus on sports, media, entertainment, or creator-led businesses, and will be adept at both creative and business aspects of the role. This is not a traditional content marketing or social media position; it requires a working leader with a hands-on approach to creative direction and team leadership. The Head of Content Monetization and Executive Production will be expected to grow owned audiences, develop fan funnels, and leverage data to optimize engagement. They should have a deep understanding of digital media economics, platform algorithms, and audience development, and be comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. The role also involves brand and partner integration, so experience working with high-profile talent, athletes, or IP-driven brands is strongly preferred.
