This remote position is open to candidates based in the US, working within EST or CST time zones. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive payment application and broker portals, utilizing modern technologies to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions. The role offers significant autonomy, allowing the developer to influence product development from inception through deployment, and to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.QualificationsMinimum of 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.Proficiency in React, including hooks, context, and component architecture.Experience with Angular, particularly in migration projects to React.Strong back-end skills using Node.js or similar server-side technologies.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, or equivalent cloud-native tools.Solid understanding of NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.Experience with payment integrations, including Stripe and other payment processors.Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Experience working in healthcare, fintech, or related domains is advantageous.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain features within the member-facing React payment application and broker portals, ensuring a seamless user experience.Create and support cloud-native services and APIs hosted on AWS, facilitating secure and scalable back-end solutions.Work with MongoDB to manage claims and payment data effectively, ensuring data integrity and performance.Build and maintain internal integrations with payment platforms such as Stripe and OnRamp, ensuring reliable payment processing.Participate in the migration from Angular to React, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the process.Contribute to the development of claims processing and onboarding systems, optimizing workflows and system efficiency.Collaborate closely with product teams, designers, and fellow engineers to deploy features end-to-end, from conception to production.Implement best practices for API design, security, and performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions to improve system capabilities.BenefitsAs part of our team, you will have access to competitive compensation, including hourly pay within the range of $60-70/hr W2, and potential discretionary bonuses based on performance.
