Job Title: Technical ProgrammerJob location : Irving, TexasDuration: 12 month*Java, Scala, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud-based data warehousing services *Job Description:Safety and Soundness Data EngineerJava, Scala, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud-based data warehousing services.This role resides within the NAM Engineering Risk and Controls Technology team to support the Global Data and Analytics organization.It reports to the Safety and Soundness Platform Lead.Technology Safety and Soundness is a series of controls and supporting processes that reinforces the core organizational focus on effectively managing risk.This is an exciting opportunity to work on an important new platform, which is in its MVP stage and will have huge impacts on the reporting and monitoring technology for the Safety and Soundness (technology risk) business. General Requirements:8 plus years Knowledge of continuous agile (scrum); development methodology is a plus8 plus years of building solutions to improve or replace manual data sourcing processes5 plus years of experience in building solutions with machine learning, graph analytics and other advance analytics techniques5 plus years working with Oracle, Oracle SQL, Java, and Mongo is necessaryIn depth knowledge of data pre-processing, feature engineering and modelingIn depth knowledge of scalable model deployment, model performance monitoring stats and modelling pipeline automation.3 plus years working knowledge of the Big Data EAP ecosystem technologies is a plusHands-on experience with Python/Pyspark/Scala is beneficialHands-on experience with XGBoost, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, PySpark, Spark GraphX is desirableExperience in consumer banking, financial services, or risk controls domains would be idealBachelor's or University Degree is Required, Advanced Degree is Useful General Responsibilities:Be a subject matter expert regarding data pipelines to the DevOps focused team and to external stakeholdersExtract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processing routines and data feeds, creating necessary data structures or data models to support data at all stagesDesign and implement custom data analytic and BI/Reporting productsEvaluation of data sourcing to this new platform and co-ownership of the data models and sourcing structure to support that platform.This role will become a key owner of that safety and soundness technology platform as it evolves along with the development teamProvide extensive data profiling and analysis-based research to stimulate meaningful dialogue and decision makingCandidates will work with UI teams and business stakeholders as end consumers of the data to define BI and reporting requirements to ensure we are meeting their requirements.Candidates will contribute to the team's strategy around development and deployment of best practicesUse your data science skills to provide meaningful AI and machine learning evaluations to enhance the platform useful life, sustainability, and value propositionPartner within the data and scrum team to expand, enhance, and test the data model
