Influential is seeking a detail-oriented, systems-minded intern to support a large-scale Learning Management System (LMS) migration project. This role will audit, organize, transfer, and optimize training materials as we transition to a new LMS platform.This is a highly operational role and is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, managing data with precision, and collaborating across teams to drive execution.You will play a critical role in ensuring our learning content is accurate, organized, scalable, and aligned across departments and global teams.ResponsibilitiesInventory and audit existing learning materials across platforms and shared drivesIdentify outdated or redundant materials and recommend retirementOrganize and categorize content for structured migrationManually transfer and validate data into the new LMSBuild course shells and upload learning assetsConvert and reformat training materials as neededEnsure proper tagging, version control, and data integrityCommunicate with department leads to gather and validate training materialsCoordinate timelines and dependencies using project management toolsPartner with global teams to align course structure and consistencyConduct system testing to ensure courses function properlyValidate course paths, permissions, and user experienceIdentify errors or inconsistencies and recommend improvementsWhat You’ll GainHands-on experience with LMS migration and systems implementationExposure to global learning strategy and operationsReal ownership over a high-impact, company-wide initiativeCross-functional experience with multiple departmentsPractical experience in data integrity, system administration, and project executionRequirementsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and data accuracyStrong critical thinking skills & an ability to understand downstream impact of system changesProven project management or organizational skillsAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiencyComfortable with manual data transfer and data validationExperience working in Google Drive and SharePoint environmentsHigh level of discretion and accountabilityBonus pointsExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Familiarity with course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, SCORM packages)Experience with Monday.com for project managementBasic video editing skillsOur EnvironmentWe operate in a fast-moving, high-performance environment within a larger global organization. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
