Materials Handler - Haven Distribution

Summary: The Materials Handler is an entry-level position responsible for the physical handling and movement of goods throughout the distribution center. This role supports the efficient flow of inventory from the moment it is received to when it is prepared for shipment to our retail stores. This individual is a key part of the DC team, ensuring that all products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities: Receiving: Unload inbound shipments from delivery trucks and assist in verifying contents against packing lists. Stocking: Transport and organize merchandise within the warehouse, ensuring products are stored in their designated locations. Picking & Packing: Locate and retrieve products for retail store orders and securely pack them for shipment. Shipping Support: Assist in preparing and loading outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles. Equipment Operation: Safely operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Inventory Counts: Assist with physical inventory counts as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience is required, but experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs). Good organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to safety procedures and protocols.
