Job DescriptionPay: $16.50/hourSchedule: Monday- Friday | 12: 00 PM until work is completed (7 PM, 8PM OR EVEN 9PM)Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week and could be more!Openings: 2Shift: Second ShiftAtWork Personnel - Harrisonburg is hiring 2 Material Handlers for a busy beverage distribution facility.This is an active, fast-paced warehouse position responsible for preparing customer orders and loading delivery trucks. If you like staying busy and don' t want to stand around watching the clock, this could be a great fit!WHAT YOU' LL DOBuild and prepare sales orders for deliveryLoad beverage products onto delivery trucksFollow established truck load plans and maintain accurate product countsStage and organize products for outgoing routesUnload incoming product from delivery trucksOperate an electric pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as trained and authorizedOperate warehouse handheld scannersInspect and appropriately handle damaged productPerform truck sweeps and help keep trucks and warehouse areas cleanFollow established OSHA safety procedures and food-safety guidelinesKeep the warehouse organized and ready for daily operationsTHIS JOB IS PHYSICAL!This position requires repetitive lifting and movement throughout the entire shift.Candidates must be able to:Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 25 lbs.Stand and walk for prolonged periodsBend, reach, push and pull repeatedlyWork in an environment with fluctuating temperaturesRemain active throughout the workdaySafely perform repetitive warehouse and loading tasksSCHEDULEMonday- Friday Start Time: 12: 00 PMThere is no guaranteed end time. The team works until all orders are completed and the trucks are loaded and ready to go.Candidates MUST have flexible evening availability.
