This role is focused on designing, developing, and shipping high-quality iOS applications for enterprise and consumer audiences. The ideal candidate brings strong Swift/SwiftUI expertise, a product-minded approach to development, and a proven track record of delivering polished, performant mobile applications from concept through App Store release. Only candidates currently residing in CA, WA, NY, or NJ will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUIIntegrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs to enable seamless backend connectivityCollaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive user experiencesWrite clean, well-documented, and maintainable code aligned with team engineering standardsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practicesOptimize application performance including memory management, load times, and battery efficiencyImplement and support CI/CD pipelines for iOS builds and deployments using Xcode Cloud or FastlaneEnsure adherence to app security best practices and data privacy requirementsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and production issues efficientlyStay current with Apple platform releases, new frameworks, and evolving mobile development trendsMandatory SkillsStrong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUISolid experience building and shipping iOS applications (consumer or enterprise)Deep knowledge of iOS frameworks including UIKit, CoreData, CoreLocation, and Push NotificationsExperience with RESTful API integration and third-party SDK implementationFamiliarity with Xcode, TestFlight, and App Store submission workflowsUnderstanding of iOS architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVCVersion control experience using GitExperience working in Agile or Scrum development environmentsNice-to-Have SkillsObjective-C experienceExperience with GraphQL or WebSocket implementationsFamiliarity with SwiftData or the Combine frameworkExposure to cross-platform mobile frameworks such as React Native or FlutterPublished App Store applications in personal or professional portfolioBackground in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industry environments
