Sales Manager
ISLE and Oru, leading brands in stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking under the Solo Brands umbrella, are seeking a strategic and driven ‘Sales Manager/Director’ to lead and expand our B2B channel. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building longterm dealer relationships, and driving commercial growth across North America. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, operations, and product to elevate brand presence and unlock new opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities
Own the B2B sales strategy for ISLE and Oru, with a focus on dealer networks, outfitters, and key accounts
Drive new account acquisition and grow existing business through strategic planning, relationship management, and consultative selling
Conduct regular business reviews with top partners to align on goals, drive performance, and resolve operational friction
Collaborate with marketing and product to develop trade programs, seasonal initiatives, and sell-in materials
Track KPIs, report on sales performance, and recommend adjustments to drive results
Represent the brands at key trade shows and dealer events
Build, train, and lead future sales support as the team scales
Travel regularly to meet with retail partners, attend industry events, and support regional market development efforts (estimated 30–40%)
Qualifications
7+ years in B2B sales, ideally in outdoor, paddle, or specialty retail categories
Experience managing regional territories or national accounts
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to drive cross-functional
alignment
Analytical thinker with a knack for sales forecasting and performance metrics
Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Passion for outdoor recreation a plus
