Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs, FMEAs, and control plans. Manage incoming material inspection and testing processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Facilitate supplier development programs and training. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar) or a related technical field. Proven experience in supplier quality management, including auditing, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and statistical process control (SPC). Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier collaboration. Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning). Bonus QualificationsExperience with statistical process control (SPC) software. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles. Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt). Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) methodologies. Proficiency in a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
