Client Support
POSITION SUMMARY:All Together Recovery LLC (ATR), provides multiple levels of ASAM SUD/BHSO care, including recovery housing, education, job training, employment, and other recovery related extensions to the family in for-profit and non-profit environments. The Client Support Specialist is vital to ensuring client needs are met and improving the treatment atmosphere of ATR. Their primary function is to help the day-to-day operations, logistics, and programming of ATR run smoothly, and provide recovery support to program participants.This schedule for this shift is Monday - Thursday from 9am - 7pm.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRMENTS:Must have a valid Kentucky driver's license.Participate in all necessary staff meetings.Be proficient in all ATR rules, policies, and procedures.Model servant leadership.Operate with integrity in all circumstances.Communicate effectively and be responsive to verbal and written correspondences.Knowledge of local resources, the recovery community and service access.If necessary, fill in for team members who are absent to cover APSS billable services.Maintain all pertinent ATR records as per policy and regulations.Maintain all required personal certifications and required training.Ability to educate and coach clients in all aspects of client house rules.Perform 30-minute walk throughs and head counts. To be performed daily.Transport clients to and from community engagements, pick up and transport new intakes as neededMaintain daily updated dorm list.Ensure that all clients attend all prescribed programmingBe primarily responsible for meeting the needs of the clients.Ensure shift reports are completed daily, and the previous shift report is filed accordingly after review.Administer drug screens, room checks, body and belongings search as needed.Facilitate structured activity groups for residential clients in ATR program.Work with clinical staff and treatment team to gauge client needs and progress in the program.Any other task assigned by immediate supervisor BACKGROUND/EDUCATION: Current APSS certification preferred/willingness to gain APSS certification within first 90 days of employment1 year of previous experience as an APSS.High school diploma or GED.12 months working with SUD treatment preferred
