Job Description Mid-Level Litigation Associate – New York, NYA highly regarded law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate for its New York office. This role is ideal for an attorney with 5–7 years of experience in general commercial litigation, looking to handle a broad range of matters in both state and federal courts.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and assist with all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through resolutionDraft and respond to pleadings, discovery requests, and motionsConduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other documentsTake and defend depositions, including expert depositionsAdvise and assist clients on matters involving real estate, finance, and other commercial disputes (preferred)Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams on strategy, trial preparation, and case managementQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in New York5–7 years of general commercial litigation experienceExperience in New York State and federal courtsStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsTrial experience is a plus, but not requiredLarge law firm experience strongly preferredReal estate and finance litigation experience is a plusCompensation & BenefitsEstimated salary range: $250,000 – $280,000, depending on experience and qualifications.The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and additional professional development and wellness benefits.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigation attorney to join a collaborative, high-performing team in New York City, gaining exposure to complex commercial matters and developing trial and deposition experience.
