Inventory Specialist
Job Title: Quality & Inventory Coordinator Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality & Inventory Coordinator to support product quality standards and maintain accurate inventory across operations. This role is responsible for monitoring materials at all stages of production, performing inspections, tracking stock movement, and helping drive process improvements that reduce errors, waste, and inventory discrepancies. This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Inspect and ensure product quality standards are consistently met while maintaining accurate inventory levels Monitor incoming, outgoing, and in-production goods; perform inspections and track stock movement Identify quality issues, report findings, and support corrective actions Assist in developing and improving quality and process procedures and standards Perform routine cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records Follow and promote department and company-wide safety compliance standards Perform additional duties as needed Qualifications Experience in metal manufacturing required Understanding of basic quality control principles, including inspection methods and defect identification Knowledge of inventory management practices such as cycle counts, stock rotation, and reconciliation Familiarity with warehouse or production workflows Experience with inventory systems, ERP software, or spreadsheet tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify defects and discrepancies Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Strong math skills, sense of urgency, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a growing manufacturing operation
