Added capacity ensures we maintain audit ready training records, and avoid pulling Technical Trainers from customer facing delivery. Without this resource, we risk schedule slips, compliance gaps, and slower course improvements. This intern is a cost effective way to increase throughput and stabilize operations during peak workload.Responsibilities:Learning Management System (LMS) SupportAssist with uploading, testing, and publishing engineering-related e-learning modules.Help maintain user accounts, course enrollments, and curriculum assignments.Support troubleshooting basic LMS issues and escalate technical concerns as needed.Perform quality checks on newly released learning content.E Learning Content CoordinationWork with engineering subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather updates for training content.Assist in organizing technical training materials, SOPs, and course files.Help maintain documentation, version control logs, and content libraries.Reporting & Data SupportGenerate basic training completion reports for engineering leads and HR.Support audit ready recordkeeping for engineering and safety compliance requirements.Maintain accuracy and organization of training data across systems.User Assistance & CommunicationProvide first level support to interns, engineers, and managers navigating the LMS.Help create user guides, quick start instructions, and onboarding materials.Assist in communicating upcoming training requirements and deadlines.Process Improvement & InnovationContribute ideas to improve the user experience of engineering training.Research new tools, features, or methods to enhance online learning delivery.Support special projects such as virtual training deployment, video captioning, or course redesign.Required Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Instructional Design, Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.Clear communication skills and a customer service mindset.Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on assignments.Preferred:Familiarity with any LMS (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, Cornerstone, Workday Learning).Interest in engineering workflows, technical documentation, or CAD-based work.Experience with content creation tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, or similar.Basic understanding of SCORM or digital learning standards (not required, teachable).
