Job DescriptionSeeking BE/BC Psychiatrist based in Worcester MA to provide psychiatric medication evaluation and management service, as well as, consultation to medical providers, mental/behavioral health clinicians, case managers, and other employees specified by assigned supervisor. The Psychiatrist is a member of the clinical practice team and works collaboratively with other team members.16 supervisory hours and 24 clinical/patient facing hoursThe position is partially remote (2 days can be done from home, 3 days in WorcesterSee all agesEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide psychiatric medication evaluation and management for kids, adolescents, and adultsProvide onsite psychiatric consultation/back-up for the health center’s medical providers and nurses.Confer with Psychotherapists on an as needed basis, regarding mental/behavioral health issues of patients.Confer with other community providers on an as-needed basis.Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Activities and other administrative projects as assigned by the VP of Behavioral Health Services and/or Medical Director.Provide clinical supervision to mid-level psychiatric provider(s) and psychiatric nurse(s) as assigned by supervisor.Maintain necessary paperwork to ensure that departmental information systems, audit, and billing requirements are keep current and up to date.Adhere to all department protocols regarding patient care.Perform other duties and as assigned by the supervisor including, but not limited to, the following: attendance at requested department, center, and outside meetings and/or trainings, administrative projects, multidisciplinary case reviews.Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $250,000-$270,000 per yearMedical insuranceDental insuranceHRSA loan repayment403(b) retirement plan with company matchShort and long term disabilityLife insurance$3,000 CME allowance, plus one paid week off to attend coursesGenerous time off policy, including 4 weeks of paid vacation and 11 paid holidaysMalpractice insurance plus tailAPPLY NOW or TEXT Job #EC232628 and email address to .Search all of our provider opportunities at brittmedical DOT com
