As our organization continues to move forward, we’re seeking a Compliance Officer who can lead day‑to‑day compliance execution, provide trusted guidance to the organization, and help ensure regulatory expectations are met while keeping compliance practical and operationally aligned. This role plays a critical part in protecting the Credit Union, supporting management and the Supervisory Committee, and fostering a strong culture of compliance across all departments.What You’ll DoAdminister and maintain the Credit Union’s Compliance Management Program, ensuring regulatory requirements are effectively embedded into daily operationsServe as the designated BSA Officer, overseeing BSA/AML/OFAC compliance activities, monitoring processes, and regulatory reportingProvide practical, real‑time compliance guidance to branches, lending, operations, and support teamsPartner with departments to ensure new products, processes, and changes are compliant and well‑documentedMonitor regulatory changes and assess impact to policies, procedures, disclosures, and trainingConduct compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and internal process reviews to identify risks and improvement opportunitiesCoordinate regulatory examinations, compliance‑related audits, and examiner requests, including tracking corrective actionsSupport complaint management, issue tracking, and reporting to management and the Supervisory CommitteePrepare clear, accurate compliance reporting that supports informed decision‑making and strong governancePromote compliance awareness and support training efforts across the organizationWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in a Compliance Officer or BSA role within a credit union or financial institutionCredit union or industry certifications preferred (e.g., CUCO/CUCE, BSACS, CAMS)Strong working knowledge of consumer compliance regulations and BSA/AML requirementsExperience with BSA/AML monitoring systems, such as Verafin, is strongly preferredPractical understanding of regulatory expectations and examination processesAbility to think strategically while remaining hands‑on with daily compliance executionStrong organizational and documentation skills with close attention to detailCollaborative mindset with the ability to influence and partner across departmentsSound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive mattersEffective communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to staff, management, and regulatorsWhy Parda?A mission‑driven organization where compliance is valued as a business partnerDirect involvement with governance and decision‑makersA collaborative culture that values practical solutions and continuous improvementOpportunity to shape and strengthen the Credit Union’s compliance frameworkCompetitive compensation and benefitsHybrid option available after six months
