Maintenance Superintendent

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Maintenance Superintendent to lead and oversee the daily maintenance operations of our production facility. This role is critical to ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and utility systems operate efficiently and reliably to support uninterrupted manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate all plant maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performanceLead and supervise maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and developmentManage and enforce safety programs and protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standardsDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programsMonitor equipment downtime and lead root cause analysis and corrective actionsCollaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals and minimize disruptionsManage the maintenance budget and inventory of spare parts and critical suppliesMaintain documentation related to maintenance records, inspections, and complianceSupport capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiativesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience will be consideredProven experience in a supervisory maintenance role within a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsProficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and maintenance safety best practicesThe role may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels is possibleThis position may require evening or weekend work to support production needsWhy Join Sofidel America?Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchOpportunities for professional development and career advancementA collaborative and supportive work environment focused on sustainability and innovationEqual Opportunity Employer Statement:Sofidel America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
