Sales Manager

Our client is a global, technology-driven industrial sensor manufacturer that is expanding its footprint in Europe. They are looking to hire a Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to drive growth across the European off-highway market.This role combines technical sales, customer consulting, and strategic business development , working closely with in-house R&D and manufacturing teams to deliver customized sensor solutions for leading OEMs in construction, agricultural, and specialty vehicles.You will act as the primary technical and commercial interface for customers and play a key role in shaping the long-term European market strategy.Off-Highway VehiclesConstruction MachineryAgricultural MachineryHeavy Industrial EquipmentIndustrial Sensors & Electronic ComponentsCompany Profile (Our Client) Global industrial sensor manufacturerIntegrated R&D, manufacturing, and sales organizationAgile structure with fast decision-makingLong-term commitment to the European market, including local presence and assembly capabilityKey Responsibilities Develop and grow business across the European off-highway marketBuild and manage relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and key industrial customersAct as a technical consultant, understanding customer applications and translating requirements into tailored sensor solutionsOwn the full sales cycle, from opportunity development to negotiation and closingCollaborate closely with R&D and manufacturing on customization, validation, and rapid prototypingIdentify new market opportunities, applications, and strategic accountsRepresent the company at customer sites, industry events, and trade fairsContribute to European market strategy, pricing, and long-term growth planningNon-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have) Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or similar)Proven experience in technical sales or business developmentExperience selling sensors, electronic components, or technical systemsStrong understanding of the European off-highway market , including construction and agricultural machineryAbility to act as a trusted technical advisor and primary customer interfaceExperience managing complex, consultative sales cyclesExcellent English communication and presentation skillsWillingness to travel regularly within Europe and occasionally internationallyIndependent, results-driven working style with strong customer focusDesirable Experience (Nice to Have) Fluency in GermanExisting network within the European off-highway or heavy equipment industryExperience working closely with R&D and manufacturing teamsBackground in growth-phase or market-expansion environmentsExperience representing companies at trade fairs and industry eventsIdeal Candidate Profile Candidates with experience selling into OEMs within construction, agricultural, or mobile machinery environments are highly preferred.
