E-Com Shipping Lead

LeadershipEssential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of associates, providing guidance, training, and support.Lead and coordinate daily shipping activities, including picking, packing, labeling, staging, and loading of outbound orders.Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.Coordinate and oversee daily outbound shipping operations to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize team performance.Quality ControlMaintain and enforce strict quality control standards to ensure packaging meets or exceeds industry benchmarks.Ensure all shipments are accurate, complete, and shipped on schedule.Conduct regular inspections and quality audits on shipped inventory. Ensure correct. packing and boxes are used to ensure quality package.Investigate and resolve daily shipping discrepancies, shortages to meet high volume KPI levels of 1500 - 2500 units per day.Review shipping documentation BOLs, packing slips, and shipping labels.Process ImprovementIdentify process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance productivity.Reporting And DocumentationMaintain detailed records of pick lists, shipping errors, and deadlines for upcoming shipments.Assist in generating analysis data including inventory levels, and fulfillment times and rates.Safety And ComplianceEnsure that all safety and compliance regulations are met, and that workers are following proper safety procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.Team CollaborationProvide support to team members and manager, as needed.Work EnvironmentWork is typically performed indoors in an environmentally controlled office environment. There is little to no exposure to extreme environmental conditions and/or job hazards
