Manufacturing Technician - Audio Equipment (loudspeakers, amplifier, etc...

At Technomad, we make best in class, pro audio loudspeakers, amplifiers and audio players, right here in the Pioneer Valley. We are looking for a new team member for our production staff. What we are looking for: Excellent electronics technician skills including soldering, SMT rework, making wire harnesses, operating light industrial equipment, etc… Electronic circuit trouble shooting skills. Computer network knowledge - configuring, trouble shooting, etc... Excellent understanding of electronic circuit design, both general and audio. Computer skills including running test gear, flashing circuit boards with firmware, configuring network devices. Dedication to 100% quality workmanship. Enthusiasm for solving problems Interest in process improvements and product design Lift 50 lbs. as needed Ability to work independently or with a larger team as needed, without direct supervision. Some weeks, work will entail trouble shooting audio components and systems. Some weeks, work will entail hands-on assembly of products. Adaptability and flexibility are key attributes we are looking for as this job requires managing a complex and varied set of tasks depending on what the production flow demands. Training and tools will be required.
