AWS Cloud Data Migration Engineer

Role: AWS Cloud Data Migration Engineer (AWS DMS / Oracle to AWS)Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid Job Description:8+ years of IT experience supporting the design, development, deployment, and delivery of enterprise technology solutions.8+ years of experience using AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) to migrate Oracle databases to AWS.8+ years of experience with batch and real-time data ingestion, including Full Load, Change Data Capture (CDC), and streaming architectures.8+ years of experience designing and implementing AWS infrastructure and networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing.8+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.8+ years of experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud data integration methodologies.8+ years of scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.8+ years of experience configuring and managing cloud network security, including VPNs, AWS Direct Connect, and security groups.8+ years of experience with AWS monitoring and logging tools, including CloudWatch and CloudTrail.8+ years of experience developing data migration strategies, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and downtime minimization plans.8+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical design documentation and migration runbooks.8+ years of experience supporting hybrid cloud/on-premises environments and legacy system modernization.4+ years (Preferred) of AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database – Specialty.1+ year (Preferred) of experience working in Public Sector or State Government environments.
