Table Games Surveillance Operator

About the Role*This role is located in Jamaica, NY. * Resorts World NY is in the midst of an exciting major expansion. We are currently seeking Surveillance Operators to work onsite at our Jamaica, NY location. The Surveillance Operator is responsible for maintaining close surveillance of all gaming and cash-handling areas. The Surveillance Operator MUST have experience working in the gaming/casino industry and must have Table Games experience. Resorts World is a 24/7 business, the Surveillance Operator role requires availability to work any shift (day, swing, or graveyard shift) within a 24 hour notice.Essential DutiesMonitor activities of guests and employees on the casino floor, cage, change booths and count rooms via closed-circuit television (CCTV) system and personal observation, for criminal activities and/or violations of regulations, policies and procedures, or internal controls.Utilize necessary equipment to identify record and document illegal and/or unusual activities occurring in areas under surveillance and reports same to appropriate personnel.Video tape questionable activities and make written reports to appropriate personnel.Monitor alarm system.Review tapes associated with jackpots.Maintain strict confidentiality of all property related issues.Operate monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions.Participate in court actions relating to gaming violations.Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.Protect the assets of the company.Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times.Perform other duties as assigned. Job RequirementsExperience working in gaming/casino industry, with table games experience.Ability to work any shift (day, swing or graveyard shift) within a 24 hour notice. Pay Transparency: $28.20 - $38.60
