The position may work in various areas. The position may assume additional duties as assigned. The successful incumbent will be detail oriented, able to follow instructions well, and work well in a team atmosphere. The position may work in any station or operation of the manufacturing process.Education / Experience / Certifications:High school diploma or GED preferred, but not requiredPrior experience in a manufacturing operation preferred, but not requiredActivities / Tasks:Depending upon which operation the incumbent is performing, he/she may be required to:Pull correct material for the job duty being performedClean part using correct cleaning procedurePut correct sealant onto partsApply thread guard where appropriateAssemble the designated parts correctly using a drill, impact gun, and wrenchesOperate a man lift, scissor lift, overhead crane, hoist, and/or forklift as required after Company certification is obtainedUse tools such as wrenches, impact guns, utility knife, drift pins, sealant tape, glue, staple gun, nail gun, and any other required tools/equipment safely and effectivelyProficiently and safely pick and pack parts for customer ordersSkills and Abilities:Ability to adapt to change and flex his/her work at appropriate times so as to support the assembly processAbility to operate man lift and ladders safety and efficientlyAbility to operate impact gun and torque wrenchAbility to use other hand tools (both manual and pneumatic) correctly and safelyAbility to apply shop mathematics to solve problemsAbility to plan work and select proper toolsAbility to read a tape measure in metric and imperial standardsAbility to compare and accurately determine difference in size, shape, and form of objectsAbility to work within precise limits and/or standards of accuracyAbility to interpret build orders and engineering drawings correctlyAbility to choose and apply the correct types of tape and glueAbility to use air bearings, overhead crane, and air float safety and effectivelyAbility to multi-taskAbility to work well with othersAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to follow and understand directionsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
