Job Title: Kitchen Food Expeditor (Expo) Job Type: seasonal and year-round, part-time and full-timeThe Stray Dog is looking for a Kitchen Food Expeditor (Expo) who is hardworking and reliable. A Stray Dog Kitchen Food expeditor will ensure that kitchen orders have been properly prepared before sending them out of the kitchen. An expeditor may have to add certain garnishes or condiments to a dish before it is ready to be delivered. He or she might also need to direct as to where dishes need to be delivered.Duties and Responsibilities:Make sure that all the orders are prepared in timeEnsure orders are properly preparedControl and oversee dishes before they leave the kitchenAdhere to all relevant quality and sanitation rules and regulationsProvide assistance in cleaning activitiesServe as a contact point for the kitchen and the wait staffTake care of orders with special needs and requestsExecute a variety of different tasks as needed in accordance with managers requests and directionsRequired Skills and Abilities:Must be at least 18 years of ageAbility to work in a kitchen environmentAbility to organize and assemble food items for guestsAbility to work well under pressure and respond with urgencyAbility to use a computer systemAbility to ensure proper food presentationAuthorization, Certification and At-Will Employment AgreementI certify that I have personally completed this application.
