We look for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering Practices.As a Software Engineer III - Mainframe Developer in our Software Engineering Group, you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers.Job responsibilitiesExecutes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architectureLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMandatory hands-on experience on COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICSStrong experience in tools like CHANGEMAN, FILEAID, ZEKE and CA VIEWStrong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, bestpractices code refactoring.A delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work without directionMandatory hands-on Cloud TechnologyExperience with various source control tools like GITExperience in Agile development lifecycle methodology.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsGood understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven/GradleGood communication and interpersonal skills and able to work under pressures.Good to have hands-on experience on Java and Kafka or any Streaming Technology.Good to have experience in Splunk, Dynatrace toolsBenefitsWe offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set and location.
