This is a night shift role with a consistent, predictable schedule and competitive hourly pay.Pay and ScheduleBase pay: Up to $26/hour - based of experienceNight shift differentials:$1.25/hour for weekday nights$2.50/hour for weekend nightsSchedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)Includes every other weekend and 3 holidays per yearQualificationsCertified by the state as a nurse aideMaintains a current CPR CertificationList on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwiseValid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements or reliable transportation preferredLOCATION: Barrington, IL.What We OfferGreat culture and team atmosphereComprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, effective on the first of the month401(k) retirement plan with a generous company matchGenerous time off accrualsPaid holidaysTuition ReimbursementEmployee Referral ProgramMerit IncreasesEmployee Discount ProgramsWhat You’ll DoThe Hospice CNA-IPU (Certified Nurse Assistant – Inpatient Unit) works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal comfort needs at the unit.The CNA is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed.Performing personal care needs after given a patient’s assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly.Meeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2 etc.)Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed lined as often as assignedReporting on patient’s condition and significant changes.
