Construction Framer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various framing techniques, including metal stud framing and wood framing, and possess the ability to read blueprints accurately. This role involves working on diverse projects, including industrial and commercial buildings, where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount. Duties Construct and install frameworks for buildings using metal studs and wood materials. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications for each project. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when required for framing tasks. Perform remodeling tasks as needed, including restoring existing structures. Weld components together as necessary to ensure structural integrity. Install siding and other exterior finishes as part of the framing process. Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site. Requirements Proven experience in metal stud framing, wood framing, or related fields. Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to understand technical drawings. Experience in remodeling projects is a plus. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Ability to perform restoration work on existing structures as needed. Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory. Previous experience as a carpenter or in similar construction roles is desired. Knowledge of metal building erection techniques is beneficial. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
