Server
Restaurant Server — The Guest's Favorite Part of the Meal
About the Role
We're hiring a Restaurant Server who makes hospitality look easy. You're the face of the guest experience—reading the table, anticipating needs, and making people feel genuinely taken care of from the moment they sit down to the moment they leave (already planning their next visit). You're quick on your feet, sharp with details, and you actually like people.
If you love the energy of a busy floor, take pride in getting it right, and want to work somewhere that values great service, this is your role.
What You'll Do
Own the Guest Experience
Welcome and seat patrons, setting the tone for their visit
Know the menu inside and out—ingredients, specials, substitutions, and how to answer questions with confidence
Take food and beverage orders accurately, catching special requests and dietary restrictions the first time
Check in with tables frequently without hovering—read the room
Present checks and handle payments smoothly
Move the Floor
Run food safely and efficiently from kitchen to table, hot and on time
Coordinate with kitchen and fellow servers to keep service flowing, even when it's slammed
Reset and prep tables quickly so the next guest never waits longer than they should
Protect the Standard
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements without being asked twice
Keep your section clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
Speak up when something's off—86'd items, a slow ticket, an unhappy table—before it becomes a bigger problem
What Success Looks Like
Guests feel genuinely cared for, not just served
Tables turn smoothly without feeling rushed
Orders go out accurate and on time, every time
The floor stays calm even when the restaurant is packed
Regulars ask for you by name
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a server or in a fast-paced hospitality role
A team-first attitude—you jump in wherever you're needed
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Strong communication and a customer-service-first personality
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
Weekend and evening availability
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with POS systems like Toast
Beverage knowledge (beer/wine/cocktails)
Experience training or mentoring new servers
