Miratech retains nearly 1000 full-time professionals, and our annual growth rate exceeds 25%.Job DescriptionThe Voice User Interface (VUI) Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered voice experiences for IVR applications across speech and DTMF channels. This role owns the design of call flows and conversational interactions, ensuring that IVR solutions are easy to use, effective, and aligned with business goals.The position works closely with Product Owners, IVR Engineers, Application Architects, and speech scientists. It bridges customer experience design and technical implementation by translating requirements into clear call flows, design specifications, and user stories that guide development and tuning efforts.Responsibilities:Creating user-centered IVR designs for speech and DTMF applications (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency)Gather and analyze business and user requirements for IVR applicationsDesign end-to-end call flows for speech and DTMF-based IVR experiencesCreate design specifications and documentation for IVR implementationsCollaborate with Product Owners to shape and refine voice user experiencesCreate user stories for developers and speech scientists to implement designsSupport speech scientists with grammar design and tuningConduct usability testing and analyze results to improve IVR performanceTune IVR applications to optimize recognition accuracy and user experienceCommunicate design rationale and methodology to stakeholdersQualifications5+ years of professional experience as a user interface designerStrong expertise in AI conversational voice design and developmentStrong expertise in gathering and analyzing business and user requirements for IVR applicationsBackground in linguistics, cognitive psychology, behavioral sciences, or a related fieldProven experience designing speech and DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) IVR applicationsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsNice to have:Computer science or technical backgroundExperience working closely with speech scientists or NLP teamsFamiliarity with usability testing methods for voice interfacesExperience designing IVR systems in large-scale or enterprise environmentsAdditional InformationWe offer:Culture of relentless performance: join an unstoppable technology development team with a 99% project success rate and more than 30% year-over-year revenue growth.
