Job Title: Purchasing CoordinatorJob DescriptionThe Purchasing Coordinator supports the day-to-day purchasing and estimating activities by sourcing materials, collecting vendor pricing, and assisting with cost and labor estimates for projects. This role partners closely with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, timely material availability, and clean documentation while helping manage an increased workload driven by business growth. The ideal candidate brings hands-on purchasing exposure, estimating support experience, and strong attention to detail.Responsibilities+ Source pricing from approved vendors and suppliers.+ Collect, organize, and maintain accurate part pricing and estimating data.+ Support estimating efforts by assisting with cost and labor hour inputs.+ Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure pricing accuracy and organized purchasing and estimating documentation.+ Support increased workload during periods of high business demand.+ Perform additional purchasing and administrative tasks as needed.Essential Skills+ 1+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, estimating support, or a related coordination role.+ Demonstrated ability to work accurately in a detail-driven environment.+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.+ Reliable, professional communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience working with electrical or construction-focused vendors to source parts and materials.+ Ability to request, track, and validate vendor pricing and lead times.+ Familiarity with common electrical supply vendors such as regional or national distributors.+ Industry or estimating experience strongly preferred.+ Prior experience in electrical, construction, systems integration, or related industries is beneficial.+ Familiarity with common material types, part naming conventions, and vendor structures is a plus.Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is Monday-Friday, in-office, with flexible start/end times (e.g., 7-4, 8-5, or 9-5) as long as coverage is maintained. The work style is collaborative but self-directed, prioritizing accuracy and reliability over speed. The interview process includes a single, conversational interview focused on fit and work style.
