Engineering Administrative Assistant

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant for a direct opportunity in Torrance, CA.Client is offering salary increases twice a year. Client offers a competitive 401k Plan.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience as an Administrative AssistantExperience in aerospace or manufacturing industryAdvanced technological fluency across a wide range of tools and platforms including Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to rapidly adapt to changing environments and anticipate the needs of the organizationAdvanced thinking & interpersonal skills including: leadership, collaboration, resiliency, strategic thinking, diplomatic, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, judgment, and business acumenMust be a proven self-starter requiring minimal supervisionExcellent academic recordUnderstanding of engineering processes and principlesDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative support to the Tooling and Manufacturing Engineering departmentMaintain and organize departmental records, files, and documentationAssist with tracking and coordination of department projects and activitiesMaintain records related to tooling, equipment, and departmental assetsAssist with organizing and maintaining technical documentation and reportsPrepare spreadsheets, reports, and presentations to support departmental operationsSupport coordination of work requests and assist with tracking status and prioritiesAssist with planning and scheduling activities within the departmentCoordinate communication and information flow between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other departmentsPrepare purchase requisitions and assist with tracking departmental purchases and ordersSupport meetings by preparing agendas, presentations, and documenting meeting notesMaintain office supplies and assist with general administrative needs of the departmentAssist other RHC departments with various administrative requestsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical teamsFamiliarity with document management or task tracking systems, preferably Jira and ConfluenceExperience coordinating projects or departmental activitiesREQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelor's degree in business or technical field or equivalent experienceWORK HOURS:Full-Time
