Market Director - Staffing and Workforce SolutionsPosition OverviewThe Market Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple branch locations and business lines within a defined geographic market. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and client expansion within the staffing and workforce solutions sector.The Market Director leads a team of branch and practice leaders, cultivating a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability. This role requires a proven leader who can combine business strategy, client partnership, and operational excellence to deliver measurable results and market growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership and ExecutionLead overall market operations across multiple offices and specialty practice areas within the staffing and solutions portfolio.Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market share and achieve growth objectives.Drive consistent revenue, margin, and operating income performance across all service lines.Ensure operational consistency, best practice implementation, and adherence to company standards.Make data-driven decisions that align short-term business performance with long-term strategic goals.Talent and Organizational DevelopmentRecruit, coach, and develop high-performing leaders across branches and divisions.Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.Build leadership depth through mentoring, training, and succession planning.Champion diversity, inclusion, and professional growth initiatives.Market and Financial ManagementOversee the financial health of the market, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability management.Analyze local and regional market trends to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats.Guide branch leaders in building and executing effective go-to-market strategies.Ensure compliance with all operational, legal, and regulatory requirements.Client and Business DevelopmentStrengthen and expand relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.Drive new business development across staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions offerings.Partner with practice and sales leaders to deliver tailored solutions that meet evolving client needs.Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and professional associations to enhance visibility and credibility.Leadership and CultureLead with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to organizational values.Motivate teams through clear communication, accountability, and recognition.Build collaboration across branches and service lines to drive cross-selling and market synergy.Model ethical leadership and commitment to high-quality service delivery.QualificationsBachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of management experience overseeing multiple teams or business units, ideally in staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions.Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, business development, and operational excellence.Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing budgets and P&L.Proven ability to lead through influence and build high-performing, results-driven teams.Exceptional communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.Experience in professional, technical, or industrial staffing environments strongly preferred.
