BuyerLocation: Denver, COSalary: $75,000– $90,000/yearEmployment Type: Full-Time, OnsiteIndustry: ManufacturingOverview:Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Buyer to join their team in Denver, CO. This is a 100% onsite role with a business casual dress code. The ideal Buyer will be confident, flexible, and collaborative, with a strong business sense and the ability to separate work from personal dynamics.Key Responsibilities:As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the following core functions:Site Support (30%)Daily sourcing tasks and tool managementReading and assisting with Power BI dashboards-read and understand and then be able to update and create their own.Inventory planning and supplier database management using internal ERP and Power BIUpdate Microsoft Forms on a daily basisVendor Sourcing & Communication (30%)Engage with a wide range of vendorsRead, redline, and negotiate contracts with suppliersInterdepartmental Collaboration (20%)Participate in S&OP calls weeklyCosting of materials and suppliesWorking on supplier scorecardsBenchmark analysis or critical suppliesConfirm invoice details including tariffs and base costsAnalytics & Reporting (20%)Manipulate data using PowerBI and ExcelScrutinize purchase orders for accuracy and completenessQualifications:To be successful as a Buyer, candidates must meet the following requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (retail buying degrees also considered)Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement roleProficiency in PowerBI dashboards and reportingStrong Excel skills including SumIFs, CountIFs, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, IF/ERROR, and text-to-value recognitionExperience with ERP systems (IFS preferred)Familiarity with Word and PowerPointValid passport for occasional travel between the US and CanadaPreferred Skills (Pluses):Exposure to site/store operationsCollaborative operations experienceAbility to compare supplier pricing to market indices (e.g., lumber and labor)Culture Fit:The Buyer should be confident and open, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
