Senior Data Engineer Alternative titles: Data Warehouse Engineer, Data Science Software Engineer, ETL Developer Full time Location: Cedar Rapids, IA The Data Engineer is a technical role responsible for the delivery of data products to consumers of data in the organization. The role includes ensuring the data products delivered will meet the SLAs for timeliness & quality for the business. A Senior Data Engineer (SDE) will have a broad set of experiences working with a variety of data sources & architectures. Will be performing hands-on data engineering work in a variety of modern data platforms using a variety of tools & techniques. The candidate will bring a positive attitude to his work and demonstrate a desire to improve everything they touch. They will work well in a team environment and have demonstrated an ability to mentor others. Must Haves Strong experience with SQL Multiple years of hands-on experience with Data Pipelines/ETL Multiple years of hands-on experience with Data Warehousing Multiple years of hands-on experience with OLTP systems (transactional database systems) Solid knowledge of data structures and data models Solid communication & collaboration skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $1,300,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Data warehouse: 6 years (Preferred) SQL: 7 years (Preferred) ETL: 7 years (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
