Culinary Art Instructor AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Job Description: CULINARY INSTRUCTOR NEEDED ASAP. MUST BE LOCATED IN BALTIMORE, MD, HAVE CULINARY EXPERIENCE AND EXPERIENCE WITH TEACHING INNER-CITY URBAN YOUTH. Culinary Arts instructors needed to teach students ranging from K-8th grade during the 2024-2025 school year. This position is for in-person instruction. Pay $50.00 an hour. Classes instructional time usually 1 hour per session. Looking to start interviewing candidate immediately. Days: Monday-Thursday Times: Between 3:30p-7:00p The Culinary Arts Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising culinary classes and cooking activities for youth. The Culinary Arts Instructors are responsible for creating weekly lesson plans that deliver nutritional facts in a creative and fun way so that students get excited about nutrition and healthy eating. The Culinary Arts Instructor is also responsible for promoting kitchen safety and always maintaining control of the kitchen classroom. The instructor must also ensure youth development principles are incorporated into the curriculum and assignments; provides guidance to students; enforces discipline and order resulting in a safe and positive environment for youth; teach cooking techniques and maintains care for supplies and equipment.
