JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Interventional Cardiology Physician Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Location: Goodyear, AZ Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Schedule: Monday Friday, with limited weekend call (1:3 rotation) On-Call Expectations: ER call up to 4 days per month (single hospital coverage) Start Date: Between May 2025 and August 2025 PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric populations Average Daily Volume / Census: Variable based on inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic volume Admissions & Rounding: Included (inpatient rounding responsibilities shared across team) Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes, inpatient and outpatient consults expected Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Coronary artery disease, heart failure, interventional procedures (angioplasty, stenting), diagnostic catheterization FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS Advanced Cardiovascular Center inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular services EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup: 24/7 cardiology and surgical support available Support Staff: 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing and cath lab support staff Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to the Medical Director of Cardiology Reason for Opening: Growth in patient volume and service expansion CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 6090 days COMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS ? Base Salary: $700,000 guaranteed base for the first year plus productivity bonus Incentive Bonus Structure: Productivity-based model following initial guarantee period
