Alpha Labor Co is seeking experienced AWS D1.1 Certified Structural Welders to join our construction team. This role involves travel to project sites and hands-on work with structural steel. We’re looking for skilled welders who can read blueprints, perform precise welds, and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction blueprints.
Weld kicker plates and bridging angles in accordance with project specifications.
Ensure all work meets AWS standards and safety requirements.
Collaborate with team members to complete structural steel projects efficiently.
Requirements:
AWS Welding Certification D1.1 3G/4G (required).
Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
Valid driver’s license with ability to travel.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying site conditions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to operate aerial lifts.
Crane signaling & fall protection knowledge.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $48.96 per hour.
Schedule:
60+ hours per week, part-time travel role.
